Give

Using our money, time and talents to advance God’s kingdom on these islands and beyond.

The English-Speaking Church on Ibiza & Formentera is completely dependent financially on charitable donations and relies on the generosity of our members to fulfil our mission to build a loving and growing community centred on Christ. We have no other source of income. Giving is part of our act of worship on Sundays when an offering is taken. It expresses our love for God and thankfulness for all he has done for us.

Whether you choose to give a regular gift, a one-off donation or a gift in your will, you will be helping to advance God’s kingdom here on Ibiza and Formentera.

TIME & TALENTS

There are also plenty of ways that you can give of your time, skills, experience, spiritual gifts and passions to further our chaplaincy’s mission here on these islands. This could be in areas such as event planning, making refreshments, playing a musical instrument, kids or youth work, fundraising, baking a cake and more.  Please get in touch if you’d like to find out more.

Regular Giving

We would encourage those who wish to support the ministry and mission of our chaplaincy to set up a standing order, either to our UK or Spanish account. This helps us to more accurately manage our cashflow and annual budget. You can of course put cash or cheques in the offering each Sunday or use the Card Reader machine before or after service to make a digital donation.

Would you like to be part of our team of fundraisers? Maybe you could help organise an event, do a bake-sale or some sort of sponsored activity to generate funds to help us fulfil our mission and ministry goals?

Legacies

Gifts from legacies can make an enormous difference to the life of our chaplaincy and help impact on our local community. Even a small percentage of the residuary estate can make a real difference and our Church Council has agreed that legacy gifts will be used to help fund our ministry and future mission.

If you are considering making a bequest and would like to talk to someone in confidence, or require more information, then please feel free to talk to Simon, the vice president, or use the ‘contact us’ link.

If you would like to make a gift to our church in memory of someone, please come and discuss this with us too. It can be a wonderful and appropriate way to remember a loved one.

For a Spanish will, your assets in Spain should be written into a notarised Spanish will that is then registered in Madrid. “Capellanía Anglicana de Ibiza y Formentera” – CIF R-0700334-F, y nº Registro de Entidades Religiosas 016347.

(CIF means Código de Identificación Fiscal or Fiscal Identification Number. Our Church is registered through FEREDE in the Register of Religious Entities in Madrid which is all legalised.)

For a UK will use the title, “The Anglican Church on Ibiza and Formentera.”
